A rare meteor shower descended suddenly, bringing with it the arrival of a mysterious stone in the frontier. The emperor sent the young Bai Ze (played by Chen Xiang) to the frontier to search for the whereabouts of the stone, betting the desire to stabilize internal conflicts and bring peace to the nation on the mysterious power of the stone. Although Bai Ze is loyal to the emperor and the country, he is unable to rise in court due to being the son of a traitor and faces exclusion. He hopes to showcase his abilities through this mission. Along the way, Bai Ze meets the upright young man Zhang Xiongfei (played by Wu Lei), who has half demon blood, and the honest and simple Marshal (played by Hao Shaowen). The three quickly bond and become travel companions, forging a deep friendship. The powerful force of the mysterious stone is spreading throughout the martial world, causing more and more people to compete for it. Meanwhile, treacherous ministers in court, fearing the power of the stone, also send assassins to pursue Bai Ze and his companions.
