Reed Morano and Jane Featherstone will collaborate to produce the Amazon 10-episode series "The Power," which is adapted from Naomi Alderman's novel of the same name, previously listed by former President Barack Obama as one of his favorite books of 2017. "The Power" tells the story of girls around the world who suddenly gain the ability to produce electric shocks from their hands, and they can also awaken powers in adult women through touch, leading to a complete reversal of gender roles. The first season will include characters from London, Arizona, Nigeria, and Moldova.
