Mysterious Hero

Meijun (played by Anita Mui), Qinge (played by Andy Lau), and Xiaocun (played by Alan Tam) are urban mercenaries. Meijun and Qinge grew up together and share a deep bond. Later, Xiaocun joins them and also falls in love with Meijun, who is indecisive between the two. During a mission, Meijun blinds the eagle. Before dying, the eagle asks his disciple Yinhuxu (played by Aaron Kwok) to take revenge. Yinhuxu pursues Meijun, and Xiaocun dies trying to save her, entrusting his sister Huixiang (played by Yip Yi) to Qinge before he dies. Yinhuxu also loses one eye to Meijun. To not implicate Qinge, Meijun decides to leave alone. Qinge takes Huixiang and searches for Meijun everywhere. One day, Meijun's sister Meihui (played by Anita Mui) deceives Qinge into believing that Meijun has changed her name to Ms. Pet and is now in a martial arts competition for marriage. Qinge wins against everyone, only to find out that Ms. Pet (played by Carina Lau) is not Meijun, and he can only refuse to marry Ms. Pet and leave alone. Later, he finally discovers Meijun's whereabouts, but Yinhuxu is after her again. Meijun is also poisoned by Yinhuxu's 'Terror Angel' poison, which will take effect within 24 hours, and the only one who can cure it is Ms. Pet. Qinge can only hold Meijun and return to find Ms. Pet...
