X-Men: First Class

Young Professor X, Charles (played by James McAvoy), and Magneto, Erik (played by Michael Fassbender), are good friends with similar aspirations. They were among the first to discover their superpowers and worked with several other mutants in the CIA. Nazi war criminal Shaw (played by Kevin Bacon), who triggered Erik's powers, has been trying to incite a nuclear war by sowing discord between the United States and the Soviet Union. Erik and Charles have been fighting against Shaw's mutants, working hard to thwart Shaw's schemes. Shaw encourages the Soviet Union to initiate the Cuban Missile Crisis, and after learning of this, Charles and Erik engage in a decisive battle against Shaw's mutants in the Gulf. In the end, Shaw is defeated by the combined efforts of Charles and Erik. However, during this process, Erik is gradually influenced by Shaw's political views, causing a rift between him and Charles. Through this battle in the Gulf, Erik and Charles ultimately part ways: one becomes the X-Men Professor X who supports peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants, while the other insists on eliminating humanity to elevate mutants, calling himself Magneto...
