This is a story centered around a violin, about a father and son... The enemy this time is Fungaia, a breed of vampires that lives by feeding on life energy. The person fighting against them is Wataru, who crafts violins in the workshop inherited from his father. Although he transforms into Kamen Rider Shin, powered by a belt, he is still unsure about why he can transform and why he has to fight. However, Wataru is not the only one battling Fungaia. Twenty-two years ago, Wataru's father—Otomu—began fighting against the rampant Fungaia. The story closely connects the present day, where Wataru lives, with the time twenty-two years ago, just before Otomu got married and had Wataru. The Fungaia that Otomu was unable to eliminate decades ago has multiplied and resurfaced in modern Japan. Wataru transforms into Kamen Rider Shin to defeat them, thereby linking the past with the present. However, there is more than meets the eye. What fate connects the lives of people across different eras? Why does the appearance of Fungaia threaten human existence? What fates do Wataru and Otomu carry within this conflict? Various characters live through various times as the story unfolds. Only two people know about these two eras: Shima, who organized the Fungaia Hunters, and Master Kido, who started running the coffee shop 'Coffee Mall Damour' twenty-two years ago. The ones navigating through these two eras, holding the key to their fates, are these two individuals and the violin left behind by the father...!?
