Detective Ango Ishikawa (played by Shun Oguri) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division is a man who feels deeply empty and lonely inside. When he was a patrol officer, he managed to catch a murderer near a crime scene, fulfilling his desire to join the detective squad. This turning point in his life causes him to secretly yearn for cases to arise. However, this time, while patrolling the usual area, he is shot in the head by a mysterious person. Fortunately, Ishikawa manages to survive the brink of death. One night, a family of three is brutally murdered, and Ishikawa, who has just returned to duty, rushes to the scene with his superior Takuji Ichikawa (played by Kenichi Endo) and colleague Yuma Tachibana (played by Takanao Aoki). While conducting a house-to-house investigation, Ishikawa suddenly experiences a moment of dizziness and unexpectedly sees the ghost of the deceased. The ghost urges him to capture the true murderer. Through relentless efforts and the pursuit of evidence and clues, Ishikawa and his colleagues bring the real culprit to justice.
