 Synopsis
"The Erotic Era Drama 'The Eight Fallen Warriors' describes the 'Eight Fallen' who engaged in the sex industry in the Yoshiwara district; they discarded the eight virtues of humanity: filial piety, brotherly love, loyalty, trust, propriety, righteousness, integrity, and shame, and were seen by the world as beasts and scoundrels. The Edo era executioner Asuka Shino (played by Tetsurō Tamba) is pursued by the authorities, and is fortunate to receive help from the Fallen and courtesans of Yoshiwara to escape danger. The kingpin of Yoshiwara, Kanemaki Shirobei (played by Tatsuhiro Endo), appreciates Asuka's talents and persuades him to join forces to eliminate the illegal brothels outside of Yoshiwara, aiming to dominate the local sex industry. This move instills fear in the illegal sex workers, who enlist the services of the black shovel ninja Kogane (played by Ryohei Uchida) to assassinate Asuka. A war between the two sides is about to erupt."
