Synopsis

At the end of the 1960s, college student Zhang Yuming injured the man who had assaulted his sister and fled to Mount Emei, collapsing from exhaustion. He was saved by the clever, beautiful, and innocent Xiuyou, who brought him back home and earned the trust of his family. As time went by, a difficult-to-express affection slowly grew between the two young people. The arrival of personnel posed a potential danger to Zhang Yuming, forcing him to leave. Despite the reluctance, at the Jinxia Lake dock, they exchanged tokens of farewell without a word. Fast forward to 2010, 60-year-old Xiuyou runs an old tourism development company at Mount Emei, waiting for a person. Zhang Yuming, now in his sixties, has become the chairman of a multinational company and returned to invest in China. He inadvertently encountered the scenes of old Mount Emei during his investment development, the very place he had dreamed of searching for thousands of times. The Zhang Yuming who left back then has returned, and he is still unmarried. Xiuyou waits at the Jinxia Lake dock.
