 Synopsis
Princess Yuan Yuan (played by Miriam Yeung) is the long-awaited daughter of the emperor, but the princess has a very unpleasant body odor that many royal doctors cannot solve. Since childhood, no one has been willing to be with the princess. As the princess reaches marriageable age, the emperor announces that whoever can successfully cure the princess's ailment will be granted her hand in marriage. Shen Mengxi (played by Richie Ren) is a poor flower gardener who strives to compete with other renowned doctors, but the chief royal physician (played by Eric Tsang) complicates matters for Mengxi to ensure that his disciple wins. He allows Mengxi to continue researching new medicines to help the princess. By chance, he meets a fish seller named Huan Xiang (played by Miriam Yeung), who has the same odor, and she is willing to help him with the experiments. After several failures, the two embark on a journey to find floral fragrances, deepening their feelings for each other. As the deadline arrives, Mengxi goes to the palace and meets the princess, only to realize that the princess is the girl he knows best.
