 Synopsis
Franz (played by Valerio Mastandrea) is a bus driver who is naturally fond of gambling, believing that everything in life can be a wager. Unfortunately, luck has never really been on his side. One day, a beautiful woman named Leila (played by Giovanna Mezzogiorno) appears by Franz's side, and he feels that his good fortune is about to arrive. Unfortunately, he is mistaken. Franz and Leila come into possession of a computer chip containing secrets about important political figures in today's political arena. This mysterious chip makes Franz a target for assassins, and the two embark on a journey of escape. Despite the assistance of a mysterious detective named Matilda (played by Ennio Fantastichini), there are several instances where Franz nearly teeters on the brink of death. Beneath Matilda's generosity and kindness lies an unknown agenda.
