 Synopsis
A female journalist investigates the darkness of a women's prison on a small island, entering the prison alone under reasonable pretexts. Here, she witnesses the various misfortunes and experiences of the female inmates. Some inmates, with the protection of other inmates, risk their lives for a quick affair with muscular men who bring supplies to the prison; some inmates face even harsher torment, or in some cases, brutal punishment, due to the cruel management of the warden and his wife; some inmates, without male supervision in the prison, either voluntarily or forcibly indulge in sexual desires with their fellow inmates; some inmates attempt to escape, only to be recaptured and thrown back into the prison, where they face horrific screams and unbearable punishments. In the end, the journalist secretly leaves with her firsthand information, painfully walking toward the prison gates. A long shot captures her gradually receding figure, leaving the audience with a heavy heart and profound contemplation.
