 Synopsis
Desire Ladder is a film shot by the American Playboy company, filled with pseudo-pornography and some beautiful women. John Anthony Denison (from the Crime Squad) plays Matt, an advertising executive involved in a major promotional contract for a jeans company. Enter his new assistant, Katherine Kinmont, whose assertive attitude and imagination win him the deal. Of course, Kinmont has more than her career to remember: she wants Matt. Matt, of course, is the lovely Talisa Soto, who is also pregnant and married. But lust prevails, and Matt engages in an affair with Kinmont. "Fatal Attraction" suggests that this relationship can only be deadly---from the film's opening, we pretty much know who Kinmont really is. The shabby tactics of Matt's competitor force his woman to sleep with him; advancing their careers, and setting a structure for the film's obvious conclusion. The cross-performance is so over-the-top that he has three scenes of dialogue by his swimming pool...
