 Synopsis
In 2261, the Vorlons joined the Shadow War, but when the Vorlons began to obliterate entire planets they deemed under the 'influence' of the Shadows, their strategy raised concerns among the Alliance. Babylon 5 was unsettled by this, so it recruited several other powerful and ancient races (known as the 'First Ones') to join their cause in the fight against the Shadows and the Vorlons. Captain John Sheridan returned to the space station after fleeing Zahadum, but he paid a price: he has only 20 years of life left, unless he gets sick or injured. Accompanying him is a mysterious alien named Lorien, who claims to be the oldest sentient being in the galaxy.
