 Synopsis
In an illegal underground organization called "Dollhouse," a large number of "biological entities" are manufactured every year. These entities appear indistinguishable from humans, yet they are soulless "doll-like" beings without thoughts or consciousness. They are rented out to wealthy mobsters around the world to carry out various secret missions, whether complex or dangerous. After completing their tasks, the biological entities are returned to the Dollhouse, where all their memories are erased, returning them to a "puppet" state. The sexy and beautiful Echo (played by Eliza Dushku) is one of these "doll-like" beings. Unlike her peers, Echo unexpectedly develops self-awareness, leading her to question her situation and existence, causing concern among the higher-ups at the Dollhouse. Meanwhile, a federal agent named Paul (played by Tahmoh Penikett) is also keeping an eye on Echo.
