Shaolin Kid in Mandarin

In picturesque Guilin, two families face each other across a river. One family is led by the direct descendant of Wudang, Bao Shengfeng (played by Yu Chenghui), while the Bao family has eight daughters, which raises concerns about the potential loss of Wudang's swordsmanship. Bao Shengfeng is constantly worried, especially when glaring at the Shaolin family across the river. Ten years ago, Shaolin disciples Tianlong (played by Yu Hai) and Erlong rescued eight orphans from a gang of robbers led by the bald eagle (played by Ji Chunhua). The brothers painstakingly raised the eight godsons, but their own long-term relationships have been delayed. They have both taken a liking to Bao family's eldest and second daughters (played by Ding Lan) for a long time, but unfortunately, Bao Shengfeng sees Shaolin as enemies and sets harsh conditions of exchanging ten cows for a marriage. Sanlong (played by Jet Li) and his seven brothers, in order to fulfill their godfather and uncle's wishes, do not give up and resort to all sorts of clever plans, while also gradually developing feelings for Sanfeng (played by Huang Qiuyan) during their long-standing confrontation. On the other hand, the bald eagle's gang, still resentful of their defeat ten years ago, sends in spies to further sow discord between the Long and Feng families, making Sanlong's path to propose for love fraught with difficulties...
