The drama is adapted from the Japanese television series "Summer Without Love." This is also Song Hye-kyo's second collaboration with director Kim Kyu-tae and writer Woo Hee-kyung. Gambler Woo Soo (played by Jo In-sung) lives in a world of poker filled with money and desire, leading an incredibly glamorous life, spending his nights either playing cards or with women and alcohol. Due to an accident, he incurs a debt of billions of Korean won and turns his attention to the wealthy heiress Woo Young (played by Song Hye-kyo). As the sole heir of a large corporation, she is smart, beautiful, and seemingly has everything, but feels lonely and neglected inside. Unfortunately, she suffers from a condition that makes her vision blurred in the center, unable to see her surroundings, known as "tunnel vision disorder." For money, Woo Soo, accompanied by his close friend Jeon Seong (played by Kim Bum), pretends to be Woo Young's brother whom she hasn't seen in over ten years and goes to her home. The cynical Woo Soo discovers that Woo Young is just as lonely and sad as he is, and gradually develops feelings for her. Meanwhile, Woo Young is touched by the warm, seemingly truthful words and actions of this "brother" and his carefree charm, slowly starting to open her heart to him. However, ultimately, when reality clashes with lies, and the beautiful facade they built is shattered, what kind of ending will the two face?
