The series "Shark: Storm" consists of 6 episodes and tells the coming-of-age story of a school violence victim, Che Yu-sul (played by Kim Min-seok), who becomes the world mixed martial arts champion. The "Shark" series is adapted from a popular webcomic of the same name. Previously, TVING produced an original movie titled "Shark: The Beginning," which tells the story of Che Yu-sul meeting and learning martial arts from mixed martial arts champion Jung Do-hyun (played by Wei Hua-jun) in a juvenile prison. The second season will depict Che Yu-sul's life after his release from prison. The shooting of the series is set to begin in July, with an expected release in the first half of next year.
