On July 26, 2021, Teruo Saeki (played by Soryo Ikematsu) celebrated his 34th birthday. After getting up, he habitually watered his cactus, moving his body to the music from the radio. Even on his birthday, as a lighting technician, he continued to work as usual, illuminating every dancer on stage. On the same day, taxi driver Ye (played by Sari Ito) drove her taxi through the nighttime streets of Tokyo during the pandemic. Along the way, Ye followed her passenger out of the car and was suddenly drawn to footsteps coming from somewhere. Unknowingly, she walked toward the source of the sound and surprisingly saw Teruo dancing on stage. The movie captures the starting point of Teruo and Ye's love story and the moment they meet, as they 'go back to the end of their romance' together.
