The story takes place in Shimokitazawa, where the relationship between the young man Akikawa Aoi (played by Ryusei Onishi) and his girlfriend Kawase Yuki (played by Moeka Hoshi) has been very stable. However, on Yuki's birthday, at the moment Aoi is joyfully celebrating for her, Yuki confesses to Aoi that she has cheated on him and wants to break up. By chance, Aoi meets Takahashi Machiko (played by Minori Hagiyama), who is studying at an art university and plans to shoot an independent film, inviting Aoi to participate. During the filming process, Aoi befriends the energetic and lovely crew member Shirodate (played by Aonagi Nakada), and they quickly become close friends who can talk about anything. Meanwhile, taking part in the film is the somewhat famous TV actor Mamiya Takeshi (played by Ryo Narita), which surprises Aoi as he is actually Yuki's affair partner.
