 Synopsis
In the 1990s, in the small northeastern town of Hualin, the unexpected discovery of dismembered body parts caused a stir. Steelworker Wang Xiang (played by Fan Wei), who has worked hard and diligently all his life, adhering to principles, faces the harsh reality of being among the first batch of laid-off workers. In order to earn merit and stay at the factory, he actively cooperates with the police investigation, while at the same time neglecting the abnormal changes in his son, Wang Yang (played by Liu Yitiet). Wang Yang, who failed the college entrance examination, had previously fallen in love with the beautiful and pure college student Shen Mo (played by Li Gengxi).
