The First Part of Fengshen: The Winds of Chaoge

The weather is freezing and the atmosphere is ominous. The second prince of the Shang Dynasty, Yin Shou (played by Fei Xiang), leads the proton army he personally trained, along with the Shang army, to suppress the rebellion of the Duke of Jizhou, Su Hu. However, he inadvertently lifts the seal on the fox spirit in Xuanyuan's tomb. The fox spirit possesses Su Hu's daughter, Daji (played by Na Ran), and is brought back to Chaoge to be presented to his father and elder brother. During the night feast, the eldest prince, bewitched and confused, draws his sword and commits regicide. After this, Yin Shou ascends to the throne, but disasters descend from heaven, forcing him to make the decision to self-immolate as a sacrifice to the heavens. Meanwhile, the immortal Jiang Ziya (played by Huang Bo) descends from Kunlun with the Fengshen List, searching for the rightful ruler of the world to save the common people. During his stay in Chaoge, he senses Yin Shou's brutality and quickly flees. On the other hand, Prince Yin Jiao (played by Chen Muchi), who once saw Yin Shou as a wise ruler, and the prince of Xibo, Ji Fa (played by Yu Shi), also discover the Shang king's selfishness and Daji's mysterious nature. A storm of blood and violence is about to break in the dark clouds over Chaoge...
