The drama tells the legendary and inspiring story of a remarkable woman who rises from cultivating peonies to ultimately saving and helping the people. He Weifang, the daughter of a merchant, meets Jiang Changyang, a man of honor in Chang'an, and together they form a partnership of artisan and investor. With her outstanding skills in cultivating rare peonies and exceptional business acumen, He Weifang leads a group of women facing difficult fates to run a flower shop, overcoming challenges and carving out a space for themselves in a world where women are often underestimated. As He Weifang grows closer to Jiang Changyang, she discovers that this man, often called the 'most corrupt official' in the land, is actually a pure-hearted strategist with a national vision. After experiencing hardship at the bottom of society and gaining insights into the use of peonies, He Weifang resolves to transition into a people-oriented enterprise.
