In October 1934, during the Long March of the main Red Army, the base once again faced an onslaught from the White bandits. The Red Guards at Li Jia Ao also took to the mountains to wage guerrilla warfare. The son of Chairman Li of the Soviet regime (played by Zhao Zimin), Su Bao (played by Chen Keran), sneaked out to contact his friends secretly without adult supervision to find the Red Army but was brought back by Li Gonggong (played by Zhang Yan), who criticized them for not informing the adults before seeking the team. Huang Jingbo (played by Li Mengyao), the commander of the White Army's Jingwei Regiment, led his troops to return to Li Jia Ao, slaughtering the families of the Red Guards who had previously divided his family's property. To avenge their relatives, the children spontaneously formed a young guerrilla group. They cleverly seized weapons and waited for the right moment to eliminate the enemy. One time, Chairman Li was unfortunately captured and imprisoned in a shed in the enemy camp. The children cleverly infiltrated the Jingwei regiment, took out the enemy sentinels, and successfully rescued Chairman Li.
