In the late Ming Dynasty, the pirates who were expelled by the Qijiang army buried their gold and silver treasures that they couldn't transport in Shimei Village, leaving behind a mysterious treasure map. Decades later, a down-and-out merchant (played by Li Tiannuo) and four children accidentally discover the treasure map, which triggers a crazy scramble involving a pirate, two bumbling thieves, and three constables.
