After the city returns to peace, the main villain regrouped his old followers and allied with the alien evil force Lang to attempt to take over the Earth. Ninja Turtles Leonardo (played by Pete Ploszek), Raphael (played by Alan Ritchson), Donatello (played by Jeremy Howard), and Michelangelo (played by Noel Fisher), along with reporter April O'Neil (played by Megan Fox), Vernon Fenwick (played by Will Arnett), and vigilante Casey Jones (played by Stephen Amell), fought side by side against the villains. After Slade (played by Brian Tee) escapes detention, he teams up with the mad scientist Baxter Stockman (played by Tyler Perry) and his two clumsy sidekicks, Bebop and Rocksteady, to launch a demonic plan to control the world. While the Turtles face off against Slade and his henchmen, they discover they are up against an even more evil force, the archvillain Krang, making them confront a universe-level strong opponent.
