In an ordinary suburban residential area, there lives a group of ordinary garden snails. These slow-moving little creatures are content with their life, working nine to five while avoiding attacks from powerful enemies like humans and crows, enjoying the gifts from nature. However, among them is a whimsical character named Turbo (voiced by Ryan Reynolds), who idolizes formula racer Guy Gagné and dreams of experiencing the thrill of high speed. After an unexpected incident, Turbo's body begins to change quietly, granting him the speed he has always longed for, transforming him into a racing snail, and accidentally bringing him into human society.
