'Save Me' is adapted from Zhao Jinshan's webcomic 'Out of the World,' set against the backdrop of a small city with a population of only 50,000. It tells the story of four unemployed young men who, upon hearing a woman's cry for help, do not ignore it, leading to a series of events. Yu Zeyuan plays the character Han Shanghuan, an unemployed youth with a tall, slender figure, handsome looks, and a warm, optimistic personality. He becomes involved in a mysterious incident after an unexpected encounter with Lin Shangmei, who transferred from Seoul. Xu Ruizhi portrays Lin Shangmei, who is under the control of a cult organization. She has a delicate appearance, fair skin, and a calm demeanor, and she moved to the countryside after her father's business failed in Seoul. Following the family's troubles, her father begins to rely on the cult leader, prompting her to try to escape from the cult.
