Middle-aged man Tsurugi Muraki (played by Terada Nō) faces the collapse of all his publishing houses due to poor management, unable to repay the high-interest loans owed to the mafia. His wife, Yoshiko (played by Shimizu Kiriko), suffers violence at the hands of the mafia because of this. Despairing, Muraki decides to commit suicide, but before doing so, he invites young escort Nanami Tsuchiya (played by Hayami Noriko) to subject her to brutal humiliation. Muraki originally planned to force Nanami to die with him, but ultimately changes his mind at the last moment.
