The comic "PLUTO" which is praised as a masterpiece is adapted from "Astro Boy 'The Greatest Robot on Earth'" launched by Osamu Tezuka in 1964. It was jointly created by Naoki Urazawa ("The 20th Century Boy", "Softness and Hardness" and "Danger Investigator") and his long-time creative partner Koshi Nagato.
The background of this suspense story is set in a new futuristic world, where humans and high-performance robots live in harmony and life is very harmonious.This world-renowned comic has won numerous awards, including the Tezuka Osamu Culture Award.The 2015 adaptation of the PLUTO Pluto stage returned in 2018 in response to popular demand and toured in Japan and Europe.
