The film focuses on the reasons that led to the purge plan, telling the story of how, due to population growth and worsening social issues, an organization called the New Founding Fathers of America conducted a sociological theory test where, for one night in an isolated community, people were allowed to vent, attack, and engage in aggression, leading to mutual slaughter among the community members. This system was promoted across the United States, turning streets into battlegrounds for murder. The absurdity of the story attracted a large audience, as the first year of the purge night was approaching, and the demons were already prepared.
