26-year-old Valeria is a conservative and lonely girl. She works as a translator in Turin, leading a simple life, except for a man named Massimo whom she secretly loves. After Massimo moves to Rome, she decides to leave Turin to follow him. Along the way, she learns about Massimo's girlfriend Flavia, and an unexpected incident brings the two girls closer together. Soon, Valeria realizes that the seemingly perfect couple of Massimo and Flavia is actually a false image.
