In midlife, a senior executive of a publishing company, Nakahara Rui (played by Kyo Kaori), who has gone through a failed marriage, meets the young and talented financial wunderkind, Suzuki Kou (played by Hiroki Hasegawa), at a wine party. Initially two strangers with no connection, they develop a romantic relationship through a visionary financial plan. Suzuki quickly rises to fame as a hot financial prince, and Nakahara profits immensely from publishing Suzuki's new book. However, they are engaged in an adulterous affair, as Suzuki is already married to the prestigious daughter, Watari-chan (played by Kyoko Fukada). This 17-year age-gap couple risks their lives and careers for their love.
