Pablo Gintiro (played by Eusebio Poncela) is a renowned director and screenwriter in Spain. However, beneath his glamorous exterior lies a hidden side. He is deeply in love with his gay boyfriend Juan Bermudez (played by Miguel Molina), who is rather cold towards him. Pablo's sister, Tina Gintiro (played by Carmen Maura), is a transgender woman who, after experiencing a setback in her sex life, has developed a deep hatred for men. Tina lives with the model Aida (played by Manuela Velasco), but Aida's daughter falls in love with Pablo. When Pablo meets the possessive Antonio Benitez (played by Antonio Banderas), all relationships become even more complicated. Directed by the famous Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, the film 'Law of Desire' won the Best Feature Award at the 37th Berlin International Film Festival in 1987. The film involves themes of transsexuality, incest, homosexuality, and male nudity and masturbation, and through its exaggerated depictions of sex and violent crimes, it explicitly challenges traditional moral values.
