"Human, Space, Time and Human" tells the story of different people of various ages and professions on an old warship, featuring themes of rape, murder, and mutiny. Kim Ki-duk gives the characters no respite whatsoever. The characters in the film have neither names nor backgrounds; the only thing that matters is the suffocating 'present'. In a dramatic whirlpool of interpersonal relationships, a struggle over food and survival completely turns into absurdity.
