Tetsuro Muraki (played by Keizo Kanie) is the owner of a lowbrow pornographic magazine. One day, while watching a film depicting school violence in an underground cinema, he is instantly captivated by the leading actress's superb acting and sense of alienation. In the days that follow, he deliberately seeks out the leading lady but has no luck. By chance, Muraki encounters that same 'leading actress', Nami Tsuchiya (played by Yuki Mizuhara), who is working as a receptionist at a lover's hotel. Excited, he invites Nami to be his model, only to discover that the film she starred in was based on a real event, and she has since fallen into the life of a prostitute. They arrange to meet the next day, but due to an unexpected incident, Muraki fails to show up, leading to a separation that lasts three years... This film is adapted from the manga by director and manga artist Takashi Ishii and received three awards at the 1980 Yokohama Film Festival for Best Director, Best Actress (Yuki Mizuhara), and Best Supporting Actor (Keizo Kanie).
