Intro： Dragon HallThe story takes place in the ancient capital of Beijing in the 1990s. With the rapid economic growth, the city is filled with high-rise buildings, and many old courtyard homes have been demolished to make way for skyscrapers made of steel and concrete. The 'Longtang' martial arts school, built in the early Republic of China, faces the same fate. Father and son Du Hai (played by Liu Long) and Du Zhong (played by Zhang Fengyi), who are the sole occupants of the courtyard, want to use the opportunity of negotiating with developers to invite the old masters of Longtang, who are now spread overseas, to return and reminisce. Once the news was released, a group of descendants of the former Longtang masters, who appeared to be united but were actually divided, came to the traditionally quiet courtyard. After so many years apart, with different personalities and old grievances from their time living at Longtang long ago, this group of 'relatives' from all parts of the world clashed as soon as they met. This was a scene that Du Zhong never expected, and it also contradicted his original intention. Du Zhong racked his brains; he needed to change this awkward situation...
