This drama is adapted from the novel "180 Days of Accompanying Pregnancy" serialized on Douban Reading, written by Chu Tang. 28-year-old Gu Yunsu (played by Zhou Yutong) faces the double blow of a breakup and unemployment, and when she finds herself lost and unable to see her life's direction, she resolutely chooses to go home to find her mother. Originally planning to "live off her parents", Gu Yunsu unexpectedly becomes the personal caregiver of her "rebellious" mom Wu Limei (played by Wu Yue) without any preparation. The new-style mother-daughter relationship and abstract interaction between the post-90s daughter and the post-70s mom, along with the addition of new family members, create a series of laughable yet heartwarming and healing familial stories. During the 180 days of accompanying pregnancy, Gu Yunsu gradually comes to deeply rely on and cherish her mother, and Wu Limei has a real experience akin to a "little cotton-padded jacket" from her daughter. Accompanied by warm family affection and sweet love, Gu Yunsu welcomes the arrival of new family members and finds a new direction in both her career and life.
