Synopsis

The annual national day of massacre is approaching, and at the same time, the U.S. presidential election is in full swing. On one side is Edwidge Owens, the spokesperson for the NFFA, which established and promotes the national day of massacre, and on the other side is Senator Charlie Roan (played by Elizabeth Mitchell), whose family was taken away by this terrible slaughter. Charlie is determined to abolish the national day of massacre at any cost, making her a thorn in the side of the NFFA, which plans to take her life on the night of the massacre. The strong-willed Charlie insists on staying home that night, while her head of security, Leo (played by Frank Grillo), keeps his wits about him to prepare for incoming threats from all directions. Due to a mole within their ranks, Leo is forced to escape with Roan from their shelter. Along the way, they receive help from some supporters, while their opponents won't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...
