Synopsis

Mike (played by Jesse Eisenberg) is a true nerd who has never stepped out of his small town. By day, Mike works as a cashier in a supermarket, and in his spare time, he enjoys drawing comics. However, the characters and stories he creates will never be known to the public. Phoebe (played by Kristen Stewart) is Mike's girlfriend, and his biggest wish is to overcome his inner fears and take Phoebe on vacation to Hawaii. What baffles Mike is why, in such an ordinary life, there seems to be wave after wave of mutant agents trying to take his life. However, when the situation escalates and threatens the entire town and Phoebe's safety, the hidden power within Mike erupts, transforming him into a ruthless killing machine.
