This film is the directorial debut of the two screenwriters of "Tron: Legacy", Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal. Rory (played by Bradley Cooper), although he has been striving to write, has never gained the favor of publishers and occasionally relies on his father's support to get by. During his honeymoon in Paris with his newlywed wife Dora (played by Zoe Saldana), he buys a manuscript bag at a secondhand store. Rory accidentally discovers an old novel manuscript inside, the content of which captivates him deeply. In the end, he claims the novel as his own and publishes it, ultimately achieving fame and becoming a rising star in the literary world. However, a mysterious old man (played by Jeremy Irons) suddenly appears, telling Rory that he is the true author of the novel, and shares with him a real love story that took place in Paris, which inspired the novel. Faced with all this, Rory experiences an overwhelming sense of guilt. Will he take his success for granted, or will it become a moral test?
