A group of young video game enthusiasts — Vampire Qima, Doctor, Big Guy, Mosquito, Rita, and Maxim won first place in a video game tournament. The tournament sponsors awarded them with a newly developed 'Counter-Strike' game as an extra prize. The young people excitedly went home to insert the disc into their computer, but an unexpected incident occurred: the motherboard burned out, and the sound waves from the speakers nearly made them faint. After that, a series of strange phenomena began to happen to them. In a confrontation to defend his girlfriend Lena against a gang, Maxim discovered that he possessed the superpowers of a character from the computer game. Just as he wanted to tell Qima and the others about it, he was kidnapped by the gang. Qima's group followed closely and decided to use their paintball guns to rescue Maxim. They stormed into the warehouse where Maxim was held but ran into dozens of armed soldiers; it turned out to be mercenaries newly purchased by businessman Boris. A fierce gunfight ensued, and the five young people killed all the mercenaries. Boris then hired these five young people to assassinate his business rival. During the mission, Qima discovered Boris's secret: he wanted to obtain the mining rights for Bolivia's alternative energy palladium and the discs that could turn ordinary people into super soldiers. Qima tried to stop everything, but brothers turned against each other; Doctor, Yang, and Mosquito insisted on possessing the discs for themselves, aiming to replace Boris. They devised a plan to ambush Boris's base using Qima, Maxim, and Rita. Just as they were about to get their hands on the discs, the government's special forces arrived.
