Ultimate goal

Jake Lamar used to be a good cop. The Boston police department named after NICK takes pride in his outstanding negotiation skills, but now Jake has become a shadow of himself. A tragedy made him give up his work as a negotiator to become a rookie trainer. One morning, when Jake woke up, he found himself face to face with two armed robbers in his own house. With his deaf daughter sleeping upstairs, Jake did his best to stay calm in this dangerous situation. He quickly realized that the two robbers were not ransacking his house and were not interested in money. The kidnappers knew him well and had carefully planned this operation for a long time. As Jake tried to figure out their true intentions, a psychological confrontation occurred. The two robbers gradually revealed their intention to expose a political conspiracy, and Jake was the key to their goal, utilizing his specialized skills and police connections to unveil the shadows lurking in the city behind the conspiracy. Jake wanted to use his negotiation skills to resolve the situation without taking any lives. The tense situation escalated when Jake could not convince the kidnappers to cease their actions and decided to fight back. With his daughter's and innocent people's lives in his hands, Jake would do everything possible to stop the two criminals.
