 Synopsis
The Nine-Striped Dragon (played by Ekin Cheng) once ruled the underworld, but this legendary figure was betrayed and arrested in Thailand. Years later, he returns to Hong Kong and works as a waiter at 'Kowloon Ice Room,' planning to disappear from the underworld. Unexpectedly, a 6-year-old boy calls him 'Dad'; it turns out this boy named Zhaolong is the son of his ex-girlfriend Helen (played by Karen Mok), who gave birth after Wenlong left for Thailand. To ensure Helen's safety, Wenlong had heartlessly departed. Zhaolong's appearance stirs Wenlong's life once more, and his demeanor attracts Zhaolong's homeroom teacher, Ameng (played by Lee Chai-Hwa). Wenlong's identity is soon discovered by people from the underworld, who hope he will regain his former glory. When Helen sees Wenlong again, he is no longer the same man, and she actively paves the way for his comeback, but Wenlong wishes to stay away from the underworld...
