In the bustling atmosphere of modernity, where snow, moon, wind, and flowers intertwine, men and women come and go, pursuing fame and fortune, chasing dreams, and following the endless desires within their hearts. Once an obscure young man named A Bao (played by Hu Ge), in order to realize his dream of wealth, becomes a disciple of the old master (played by You Benchang). He then dives into the stock market with a group of loyal followers, achieving great success and rising to prominence. Not satisfied with the wild adventures in the stock market, A Bao turns to the business world, engaging in mutual cooperation and trust with Miss Wang (played by Tang Yan) from No. 27; opening a restaurant with his childhood friend Lingzi (played by Ma Yili), supporting each other; and testing the waters with the newcomer, the owner of Zhi Zhen Yuan, Li Li (played by Xin Zhilei), amidst undercurrents. The crowded and bustling Huanghe Road is a microcosm of Shanghai, showcasing numerous stories of joy and sorrow, ups and downs. This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Jin Yucheng, who won the Mao Dun Literature Prize.
