Starz officially ordered the second season of the new series "Vida". The show focuses on two Mexican-American sisters, who have very different personalities and are estranged from each other. They are forced to return to their childhood home after their mother unexpectedly passes away. The sisters originally planned to sell their mother's estate after the funeral and return to their normal lives in Chicago and Los Angeles. However, things don't go as planned, and they have to confront the past while discovering shocking truths about their mother. The president of Starz stated in an official announcement: "As we anticipated, 'Vida' has attracted a young, new Latin audience to the Starz platform. We are thrilled to announce the renewal of the show for a second season. In the new season, (writer) Tanya Saracho and her team will have the chance to lead the audience into a deeper exploration of the Hernandez sisters' lives and their community, and we look forward to presenting the next chapter of their story to everyone soon."
