Han Ji-eun (played by Song Hye-kyo) views the 'Full House' left by her deceased parents as her home and her treasure. A passionate writer, she writes online but has no stable job, forcing her to live frugally in Full House. Unexpectedly, the naive Ji-eun is betrayed by her childhood friend, Hu-cheng, and his girlfriend, who sell Full House and take all her money. The house is then sold to the big star Lee Young-jae (played by Rain). Young-jae originally wanted to buy the house to propose to his girlfriend, Hwe-yeon, but she announces that she will marry Young-jae's brother instead. To suppress his pain, Young-jae, facing reporters who catch wind of the situation, claims that Han Ji-eun is his fiancée. This catches Ji-eun off guard, and when offered requirements by Young-jae's manager, Ji-eun decides to enter a fake marriage with Young-jae, hoping to use it to reclaim her Full House. Thus begins their life as a pair of bickering partners; their contrasting personalities lead to a stark difference in their living habits, and they argue every single day. Due to Young-jae's celebrity status, their lives are often disrupted, but through various experiences together, they unknowingly fall in love with each other...
