Ted (played by Josh Radnor) finally gathers the courage to propose to his girlfriend Stella, who happily agrees, and they both immerse themselves in the happiness of their engagement. Is Stella the true soulmate Ted has been searching for all these years? Marshall (played by Jason Segel) has always dreamed of becoming an environmental lawyer, but the gap between his dreams and reality is widening. To support his family, he decides to work for a giant bank that he once looked down upon. His wife Lily (played by Alyson Hannigan) initially does not understand him, but later chooses to support him.
