"Recess" is a cartoon series launched by Disney Channel in 1997. In 2000, "Recess" won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program. In 2001, Disney adapted it into an animated movie titled "Recess: School's Out". The story revolves around six main characters: TJ, who always wears a red baseball cap and loves to play pranks, causing headaches for his teachers; Vince, a talented athlete and chef who is also the most informed person in school; Spinelli, a tomboy who excels at wrestling and is known for her courage; Gretchen, a smart girl who is referred to as the "brainiac" by older kids; Mikey, a philosophical but food-loving chubby boy; and Gus, a newcomer from a strict military family. Together, they embark on various amusing adventures that take place in classrooms, playgrounds, and at home, showcasing their diverse backgrounds and cultures.
