The Paragon tells the story of DUTCH, a disabled and angry victim of a hit and run accident. He enrolls in a course on developing psychic abilities to locate the car that hit him and seek revenge on the driver. However, his teacher, LYRA, involves him in her quest for a mysterious crystal called THE PARAGON. This leads Dutch to become trapped in a parallel universe, pursued by Lyra's malevolent brother HAXAN and his group of psychic slaves.
