There is a police station in Hong Kong, which was a barracks for the Japanese army during the invasion of Hong Kong 30 years ago. Because of the defeat, the Japanese officer committed suicide by seppuku inside. It is said that their ghosts still linger in this police station and will haunt the day of the Menglan Festival. Kim McKee (played by Jacky Cheung) and Meng Chao (played by Xu Guanying) are both police officers in this police station, but they have never believed in the horror legends in the police station. It wasn't until they witnessed the fugitive Snake Ming (Lou Nanguang) turned to ashes when he encountered the sun, and it turned out that Snake Ming saw the ghost of the Japanese army in the prison, and turned into a zombie after being bitten, they believed that there was indeed a ghost in the police station.
They report the situation to their boss and are trying to find out the truth, when they encounter a woman who is suspected of being bitten by a zombie and has died. A battle between the police and the devil has officially begun......
